Behavioral Health Access Program (BHAP)
BHAP connects people to affordable mental health counseling services in Whatcom County. Counseling services are provided by licensed mental health professionals at various clinics and private practices in the community.

To be eligible for BHAP, patients must be a resident of Whatcom County, low- to mid-income, and have no insurance that covers mental health services. Patients pay a co-pay on a sliding fee scale, $0-$20 per visit.

BHAP is administered by the Whatcom County Health Department and is funded by local sales tax dollars.
