Different public health insurance programs have different eligibility requirements and provide different coverage. Click on the links below for more information about each program. Apple Health for Kids
Medical Programs providing medical, dental and mental health coverage for children up to age 19

Health Care for Workers with Disabilities (HWD) Program
Program that allows people with disabilities who are working to purchase medical coverage by paying a monthly premium that is based on their income

Family Medical
Medical coverage for families with dependent children under the age of 19, whose income and resources are below Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) limits

Medicare Savings Programs
Programs to help Medicare recipients pay for all or part of their Medicare premiums

Alien Emergency Medical Program
Emergency medical program for persons who do not meet the citizenship requirements for other DSHS medical programs

Pregnancy Medical Program
Medical program for pregnant women

Aged, Blind and Disabled Medical Program
Medical coverage for aged, blind or disabled persons

Washington Health Plan
Reduced-cost health care coverage to qualified Washington State residents. Sometimes called “non-subsidized Basic Health,” the Washington Health Plan is administered by the Washington State Health Care Authority
