You can make a difference for the health of our community!
SHIBA HelpLine Volunteers
Understanding and paying for health care is challenging. People need answers. Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors (SHIBA) HelpLine is a statewide network of trained volunteers who connect families, seniors and others to the answers they need. Volunteers receive valuable professional training and are supported staff and volunteer mentors. To get involved, click here.
Volunteer Interpreters
WAHA works with many clients who do not speak English, and we need volunteer interpreters for insurance screening and/or medical appointments. This is a great opportunity to network in the medical community and help all members of our community get access to health care.
